Please join us on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 for a presentation by Rebecca Schwendler. PHD., RPA from Paleo West Archaeology. She will discuss the old Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp located in Castle Rock and the survey that was done for the current “Terrain” development in that location. During the Great Depression the CCC built dams and other infrastructure in the Castle Rock area. The camp included many buildings and even a baseball diamond.
