Come Join Us for a Guided Walk…We’ll walk leisurely for about 40 minutes stopping at about a dozen selected grave sites to hear brief stories of the deceased. Refreshments served afterwards. Walking tour conducted by Castle Rock Historical Society members and family genealogists Jerry and Mary Persall. The Cedar Hill Cemetery was founded in 1875.  Cedar Hill is the only cemetery in Castle Rock, and contains the remains of pioneers significant in the early history of Castle Rock and Douglas County. In addition to being the resting place of early pioneers, the historic section of the cemetery contains numerous unique stones and markers that represent the culture and lifestyles of various Douglas County families. This tour starts and ends on time and is geared for adults only. Refreshments will be served following the tour.
