Ghostly Stories & Tragic Tales Walking Tours

“Ghostly Stories and Tragic Tales of Castle Rock 2025”. Join us for a walking tour of Downtown Castle Rock featuring tales of ghostly and tragic events in Castle Rock’s history. Come hear stories of The Rock, The Old Stone Church, The B&B Café, and more. The nighttime tours will be at 7:00pm on Oct. 1st, 8th, 9th, 15th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, & 30th. There will also be daytime tours on Oct. 18th & 25th at 1:00pm. Tours begin and end at the Castle Rock Museum. Please dress for the weather. The tour is free, but donations are encouraged. 150th Anniversary & Outdoor Model Train Day

Help us celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Denver & Rio Grande Railway Depot which is home to the Castle Rock Museum.  We’ll have our garden model train set up in the backyard along with other model trains and replicas of Castle Rock buildings.  Come enjoy free train rides and music from the Castle Rock Band.  Join us on Sat. Sept. 6, 2025 from 10am – 1pm at the Castle Rock Museum 420 Elbert St.  The anniversary ceremony will be at 11:30am.
