“Scavenge The Rock” is back. What better way to learn about Castle Rock’s history than to explore Downtown Castle Rock with a scavenger hunt?
Pick up the clue sheets at the Castle Rock Museum between May 1st – June 2nd. They are located in a bin outside by the front door. Go around town to complete the tasks on the sheet. You will be visiting historic sites and some businesses. You might need to check the business’ hours of operation to be able to visit them all.
Return the sheet to the Castle Rock Museum to receive a gift. If you earn at least 130 points on the clue sheets you can be entered into a drawing to win tickets to the Summer Concert Series, Red Hawk Golf Course and much more. You need to return the clue sheets during the museum’s business hours which are Weds. – Fri 12:00p to 5:00pm and Saturdays 11:00am – 4:00pm.
Even if you don’t complete the whole clue sheet, be sure to still turn it in at the museum to receive your gift.
You have the whole month of May to complete the hunt. Bring your family, friends, co-workers or do it on your own. It’s a fun and easy way to learn some history and get to know Castle Rock better.
The grand prize drawing will be June 3rd at the Castle Rock Museum.
